Roley, Ziggy and Polly

Roley and Ziggy were two very overweight Dalmatians that we re-homed three years ago. Ziggy the female weighed 32kgs and her companion Roley weighed in at 44kgs. After being picked up in the snow by our intrepid volunteers Jane and Ian Holmes they were transported to meet their new owners in the snow on a deserted M25 service station in Essex. The adopters Linda and Terry already had a Dalmatian bitch, Polly who spent much of her latter years aiding the pairs weight loss! Despite the isolation and over indulgence in their previous home, both dogs are great with people and other canines and spend holidays both in the UK and in France. Today Ziggy weighs just 20kgs and her beau Roley a much more healthy 32kg. The pictures show how they were before and the following two how they re today. They both now look happy, healthy and full of life.
