Urgent appeal for Esme

Esme is a 2 year old bitch who has not had the best start in life. Having already had a litter a few months ago she was handed to another Welfare associations, who passed her to BDW

She is a small pretty girl who is very affectionate to people. However because of her background she is timid and flighty and very scared of other dogs and this manifests itself as reactivity when she is confronted with another dog. The kennels who are caring for her on our behalf have been working on this and she is improving but any new owner will need to continue working on it.

Esme needs a home where someone can spend time improving her confidence. She needs an experienced owner who can work on her dog reactivity preferably living in an area where she will not constantly meet other dogs on walks and where there are no visiting dogs. She needs to be an only dog. She could live with older children who are used to dogs. A secure garden is a must as she will not be able to be let off lead until her confidence improves.
