Male, 8 years old

Sergio, or Rio as his foster carers call him is a lovely 2 year old liver spotted Dalmatian. He was handed into a pound by his owners in Spain as no longer wanted. He is currently in foster care in the U.K. Sergio is a typical lively Dalmatian who is full of energy. He had had no training when he arrived and is slowly learning and progressing. He is very loving and does get anxious when left alone. He does not get on with cats, small furries and birds. He does get on with other dogs both Male and Female. Sergio would suit an active home, currently he does not have recall training, so would need an enclosed area to allow him off the lead exercise and training. He is an intelligent boy and learns quickly and a typical teenager who pushes his boundaries so he needs a good alpha figure who will teach him manners and his place in the family. In return he will give you cuddles a plenty. He has had an injury to his tail which is being monitored and may need to be amputated in the future if he keeps wagging it and splitting it! He does have seperation anxiety so would need someone to be at home with him most of the time to build his confidence in this area.

If you would like to adopt Sergio please get in contact with Lucille Sibthorpe on 07500 734039 from Save A Spanish Spot. An adoption fee of £400 applies and home checks will be carried out. Website
